Attractions and Activities along the Coast of Maine
Maine offers a great variety of family oriented activities and attractions. The more rugged coast of northern Maine offers some spectacular scenery. Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor has a wonderful collection of natural sights. Other parks offer opportunities for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. In most of the harbors, you will find windjammer cruises, fishing, and whale watching Acadia National Park - This is one of the truly great National Parks offering a great variety of activities and some exceptionally beautiful scenery. Acadia is located on Desert Island near the town of Bar Harbor The Seashore Trolley Museum. The museum is located at 195 Log Cabin Road in Kennebunkport.
